By the time I’d reached the chamber I was a bag of nerves. I had no idea what to expect from an initiation. It sounded exciting and I dressed up all smart in my best suit, hoping that Master Napoli would be overseeing the ceremony, and that something as amazing as last time was in the cards. The moment I arrived, however, I was ushered into a side chamber by one of the servants and told to strip out of my suit, and dress instead in what could only be described as a strip of cheese cloth. It barely covered my body and instantly made me feel embarrassed and unnerved. I kept asking the chamber servant if I was wearing it properly, but he just stared at me like I’d gone mad. I mean, I know they never say that much but I could really have done with a bit of reassurance before he scuttled off down the dusty corridor and left me alone wondering what the heck was going on.A few minutes later I heard rustling from within the main chamber and then a mysterious voice called me in. The room was lined with white curtains made from a similar fabric to the one I was wearing. Sunlight poured in from behind them and the whole place seemed to glow rather magically. It took the longest time for my eyes to become accustomed to what I was seeing but I swiftly established that the voice I’d heard was Master Scott’s.
